Polished Stone Technique
  Caught In Crystal

I stamped this lovely bunny image (maker unknown) in brown dye ink and coloured using watercolour pencils. This was layered onto marble green paper and then yellow card. The gold 'Happy Easter' sticker was added to matching marble green paper before mounting under the bunny image.

I stamped this cherub in an egg image onto pale pink cardstock with black memories ink and coloured the image using felt tip ink mixed with pearlexpress pallate colours applied with a paintbrush. Highlights were added using gel pens and the image was layered onto pale green card decorated with silver Easter stickers.

I used the caught in crystal technique for this card behind the bunny stamp (Anita's). This was layered onto pearly white card, then green paper and finally onto green mulberry paper. Then this was glued to a pale green cardstock with a gold 'Happy Easter' sticker added.

I stamped the egg stamp (Make your Mark) four times onto different coloured card and paper using different inks and carefully cut them out. The 'Happy Easter' stamp (Make your Mark) was stamped onto yellow cardstock using black memories ink. This was coloured using pearlexpress and felt tip ink applied with a paintbrush before being cut out and edged with orange felt tip. The eggs were arranged so they overlapped each other and the word image was mounted using foam pads.

Yet another Easter Card, with this one using the polished stone technique to provide the background for the image. The cherub was stamped with black brilliance and layered onto a creamy yellow cardstock. The Easter greeting was a rub-on mounted onto the polished stone background and then the creamy yellow cardstock. This layer was then mounted onto the purple card.

I love this bright and cheery Easter card using the serendipity technique. I kept the colours to shades of green, yellow and orange (except the bunnies which were brown with white tails). I added clear glitter glue as an accent in the spaces in the serendipity squares.

This is my first attempt at a medallion card. This medallion stamp by Make your Mark has both stars and crackers in it so it would be perfect for Christmas but I decided to try it with other colours. I used three shades of purple cardstock for the medallion which I mounted onto a square pink pearlescent card. I cut the right hand edge of the card front with deckle scissors and stuck a piece of polished stone technique cardstock to replace the part cut away. I used the same polished stone cardstock to add the silver 'Best Wishes' sticker to the card.

This was a collage card done for a 'J' themed swap - in this case 'journey'. The corner pieces are polished stone cardstock in shades of purple with the colour echoed in the letter tiles and the 'San Francisco' stamp (maker unknown). The luggage image is decorated with gold gel pen.
